The ABC curriculum was developed by Dr. Michael Babcock, a professor who has taught the Bible on four continents. Evangelical in doctrine and practical in focus, the curriculum was created in the early 2010s to equip pastors in the southern Himalayas who were unable to leave their homes and go to a Bible college far away. The vision was to bring the Bible training to where the pastors lived and ministered.

The curriculum was originally taught in Nepal and India. Pastors gathered in a central location, such as Ilam, Nepal, for a one-week conference during which time one of the units was taught completely. Over a period of about two years, the participating pastors completed the entire five-unit course.

ABC remains true to its original mission by extending Bible training to ordinary Christians throughout the world. Written in Basic English for a global audience, the entire curriculum is now available via mobile app, enabling you to learn God’s Word wherever you are!
